A new online radio station created for people in Sherwood and the surrounding area is set to launch on Saturday 16th January 2021.
Bowe Radio, which has studios in Old Ollerton, will broadcast a variety of music and content that will appeal to local ears.

The station was founded in November 2020, by a voluntary group of ex-broadcasters and active members of the local communities to "fill the gap" left by commercial stations that moved their conversation national.
Mike Pringle, Chairman of Bowe Radio said: "2020 has been incredibly difficult and life-changing in many ways. The one positive which has shone through all the trauma is the community strength and community support for those who needed a helping hand.
"BOWE will continue in that vein, by offering support and entertainment through the media of radio and be somewhere the community can share all the good that happens locally."
Locals can tune into Bowe Radio via the website www.boweradio.co.uk and by asking their smart speakers to "play Bowe Radio".
Sitting behind the live microphone on launch day will be Malc Waring with a musical themed show called Children's Favourites.
