A 52-year-old woman has been found dead at a house in Farnsfield.

Emergency services were called to an address in Green Vale, Farnsfield, at about 14:30 on New Years Day.

A 52-year-old woman was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

Detective Inspector Craig Hall, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We are still at the very early stages of this investigation and are currently working to establish exactly what happened inside this property.

“We have been conducting house-to-house enquiries but would like to stress that there is no need for wider public alarm.”
